Growing up should be wonderful – but for these Syrian kids in refugee camps in Lebanon it is not. Tens of thousands of them found temporary homes in tents in the Bekaa Valley, made of advertisement banners which look like a distant echo of a better world. These kids have no access to medical care, no access to education. They are traumatized, they freeze to death, they starve to death. They have lost their country, their childhood, their future. They still laugh, play, dream. But even if they survive somehow, they are, by now, a lost generation.
